From the Editor
Dear Readers,
It is with tremendous gratitude that we present the assembled voices and visions of House Mountain Review 2.1. Even as the pandemic and other crises disrupt our gatherings, our communities, and our daily lives, poetry has proven itself as a means of connection and survival. The poems and visual art in this issue dazzle us not only with their fineness of craft, but with the breadth of their formal exploration. This work reminds us to keep moving, to keep searching—something new and worthy is just around the turn.
Thank you for reading,
Julie Phillips Brown, Editor-in-Chief
